Commodity Manager.

Blackmer a leading manufacturer of pumps and related equipment, has an immediate opening for a Commodity Manager in the Strategic Procurement Department. The Commodity Manager is responsible for implementing commodity strategies across the organization and will have experience in the following commodities; castings, plastics, electric motors, steels, seals, hydraulic components, fabrications, machining, stampings and raw materials.

Minimum requirements include: Bachelors Degree and Supply Chain Professional Certification are required.  Integrated Supply Chain Management Degree is preferred. Candidate should have several years of experience in Supply Chain management with demonstrated accomplishments in best-in-class methodologies, broad knowledge of manufacturing processes, understanding of quality systems requirements, import compliance knowledge and strong project management and negotiation skills.  In addition, candidate should possess strong capabilities in data management and manipulation.  Exceptional interpersonal skills are required as individual will interface with internal and external customers daily.  Minimal travel is required.
